Summer holidays

What I will do for my next vacations? Difficult choice, so much activities to do in a short period of time, even more here in Santiago, because here you have a lot of activities and, in my case the majority of my friends live here. But if I think good, I want to travel to other country here in Latin-American, visit the Amazonas or the capital of Peru, Lima, eat several kind of food, buy some clothes made there, or even, drink some “Pisco sour”.

If I can’t go to Peru. My second choice is Brazil, I love Brazil, there, the people looks happy all day, at least in the movies it’s like this, and I want to visit Rio, their carnivals are so colorfully, even if I can, it would be funny to learn some Portuguese, it’s very similar to the Spanish.

My third option is to visit the south of Chile, cities like villa rica, Coñaripe, Chiloé. In this sites, I want to go to parties, eat some typical food of each one and do some trekking for take many pictures of each site, my dream is pass the New Year eve in Rio de Janeiro, dancing all night long, with people in costumes, that is what I plan to do with my vacations… ah, and spending some time with my family in my city, San Vicente de tagua tagua, they are so funny, and I love ride my bike on the streets of my city. That’s are my plans.

In fact my holidays are quite idyllic. Chances are I will continue to work as I am doing now as I need to save money. I hope I can make some small trip to the beach.

My favorite myth

The history of the chupacabras draws my attention, I do not know if it is within the category of myth, but it is a story that intrigues me a lot. This strange animal, is a world phenomenon, according to some an experiment that went wrong and escaped, another ensure that it is a species of another planet belonging to beings coming from space. What is certain is its name, this distinctive name is because the strange animal, I attack at night in hen house or flocks and the only thing that makes its victim are two small holes in the neck, leaving it totally dry and dead.

This story I have also lived closely, since as I live in a rural area I have heard in more than one opportunity rumors of the appearance of the chupacabras. I remember that on one occasion a neighbor found several dead hens in her house and explained such an event with the existence of the mythical chupacabras. The hens had no trace of being hunted by any animal that wanted to eat them. There were only two holes in the neck.

Many years ago, when the story of the chupacabras began, I remember being very afraid, I preferred to turn off the television when they showed images of that animal and I must admit that I still feel a little suspicious of their images.
